Paris Market Carrots

How stinkin' cute are these carrots...?

I found them on Pinterest but the link didn't follow anywhere.  So I simply searched Google and found a place to buy them (Seed Savers Exchange).  They are definitely on my list of items to plant.  Why plant regular carrots when you can have these cute ones instead...

Happy Gardening!

Welcome...

Over the past few years I have become interested in gardening.  My parents and I moved onto 2 acres outside of San Diego in 1997.  We built a pool and that was about it.  I believe that a garden was on my dad's list of to do's but after he passed away in 2005 my mom and I never thought much about it.  He purchased a compost bin with the hopes of one day retiring and starting a garden.  He was an amazing man who could spend all day outdoors and the rest of his time was one his computer.

Now that I have a family... my husband and two young boys... I want to start a garden.  We attempted to utilize my mom's property in 2010 but it became too much to drive 20 miles away to tend my garden while trying to raise an infant and a 2 year old, the garden suffered.  My mom continued to plant and would give us some of what she harvested.  But my dreams are still there and I hope to start soon.

We currently live in a condo without even a patio.  We plan on buying a house within the next few months so I  am going to us this time to educate myself on gardening and all that it entails.  Join me and I hope you start a garden too!
